Hi Cathi, How funny that we had the same quote ......great minds and all that !!!! So sorry that I haven't been around much .....still getting used to my new computer and have been a little busy. Should be back to normal now. ..... and, Spurs beat Manchester United !!!!! Yey !!!! My husband went to see Spurs the other week at home as my brother-in-law's company now have a box there. I shall probably be going soon . Hope that Alex is now on the mend and that youve had a lovely Summer despite the set-backs. lots of love. XXXX
Nice quote indeed, even if the true bliss of countries having real seasons is to see them changing, plus this in addition: In any delight that you are anticipating from life, waiting for it is a very good part of it. Isn’t it? Of course I enjoy Parisian autumns, visiting “Le jardin du Luxembourg” for example, but it’s even better around my country house (région du Perche). In this page of my blog, I imagined Marianne and Willoughby (Sense and Sensitivity) having a walk on my country land as two hazy and charming ghosts :) http://chatlibre.blog.lemonde.fr/2006/11/28/promenade-dautomne-au-bras-de-willoughby/
I love that quote, and I think I feel very much the same way. I crave this time of year and once it arrives, I am always sad to see it go.
ReplyDeleteSuch beauty! I would love to take a walk on that path....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quote Cathi and a gorgeous picture to accompany it.
