my fave thing to wear...

Yesterday I was reading about a young person that had jumped off a bridge. I think it was the Golden Gate, and in the persons belongings they found a note that read " If one person smiles at me before I get to the bridge, I won't jump" Never underestimate the power of a simple gesture - like a smile. It truly can change the course of someone's life.
Have a beautiful day!

  6. So sad- it really makes a person to stop and think how one simple gesture can really go a long way.

  7. Oh dear, that's so sad. Isn't it awful to think that a smile could have saved her. I will smile even more tomorrow. XXXX

  10. This gave me the chills. Maybe it's because I'm living in a new city, but I feel like people don't smile as much here as they do in the South. I know I don't smile as much for no reason or in response. A man told me last week not to look so serious. I should remember to smile :)

  11. Wow. Thank you so much for sharing this. I love smiling at strangers, always hoping it will brighten someone's day. I'm afraid, however, that most of the time they might think I'm a big goober instead. After reading this, I know I will make a constant effort to keep grining.
