smile monday...

Today I am grateful.
My daughters boyfriend and the
son of my best friend had to undergo
emergency surgery for a ruptured
appendix with a severe infection.
He has been hospitalized for 5 days,
and today he finally was able to go home.
It has been an extremely tense week
He still has a long road to recovery,
but is a very lucky young man.
And we are all thankful.

Steph - you've been such a great help to him in this time of need - that's what friends are for. He is a special guy!

  6. that's a tough road to follow. poor
    guy.

my daughter went through the same
ordeal at nine! she never shed a tear
no matter what horrible things the
    doctors and nurses did.

but the morning they brought her
    oatmeal, she sobbed. :)

hope your guy is healing well.

    blessings,
