I also love this quote. It reminds me of an essay I read about how weeds grow no matter how much they get trampled on.... They even grow in little cracks in the sidewalk. They thrive on the environment they are put in. If something as weak and small as weeds can grow anywhere, why can't we do the same thing? We did not go through centuries of evolution (physical and mental) to just wither when the going gets tough.
