smile monday

I hope you all had a GREAT

weekend doing whatever made your heart soar!

I had such a relaxing weekend playing in the dirt,

scouring garden nurseries looking for just the right soil

for our veggie seeds to make a home in for the next

few months.  After much planning and strategizing on

how to keep our little squirrel friends from digging

up our crop - Steff and I finally finished our

garden.  We also have a major herb garden

going in our kitchen window too!  It's funny

how with all the hauling, digging, planting

and basically knee, arm, face deep in the dirt

I've never felt so relaxed!   I am moving very

slowly and am a bit sore - but it's the kind of

sore that says you did it girls!!

(and that is a wonderful feeling!)

Happy Monday, Everyone!

I agree. Gardening gives a satisfying ache to those muscles. Love it!

Gardening is instant gratification and I love it!! Even though spring has sprung earlier than usual here ~ alas it is still a bit too early to plant here. Happy Monday Cathi!!

Sounds like a fun weekend. I'll be over for salad in a few months. :-)

It's a really good feeling to do gardening - even better when you see your little seedlings appear -
so exciting!

Glad you and Steph had some dirt-diggin' fun this weekend!

Sounds like a perfect weekend. It rained all weekend here, so my plans of tilling and planting a veg garden were all for naught. Love the picture.
