Alex and I will be wandering
the streets of London
strolling thru the lovely parks
checking out some gorgeous landmarks
Definitely stopping in for a pint or two
Taking in a football match
Another pint or two would hit the spot after the match
Taking a day trip or two - Cotswolds being my 1st choice
Taking the train to Paris - tied for 1st
I will do my best to be this girl
but in reality my vacation photography
is usually taken with my iphone.
I will bring a REAL camera though,
just in case. We definitely put
this vacation together last minute,
but it has come together nicely thanks
to some very lovely blog friends and
their suggestions!
What a fabulous place to
spend my birthday week!
Have a gorgeous day, everyone!
xxoo

I was just wondering today if you had confirmed your trip yet. Am so excited for you Cathi!!!!! :)
As we leave for France 35 days today, I am guessing our planes may pass each other in and out of London!!
Great photos here.....you are going to have a wonderful time :) xoxo
Wowee! Waat an awesome birthday present for you! xxoo
ReplyDeleteSIMONE - I am squealing too! It sure sounds like we will pass each other. Will send a toast your way as I have my first pub drink in London! Thanks for everything!
ReplyDeleteTRACY - It is the best birthday present! I can't wait!
How exciting for you Cathi ~ seems like the ones you plan at the last minute are the best! That is how we planned NYC last year. I will count down with you and be so excited for you albeit a little teeny tiny bit jealous!!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous!! London and Paris. When I to Paris this past fall I really wish we had taken the train to London for the day.
ReplyDeleteWhen you are in London you must go to the Hummingbird Bakery for me!I have their cookbook and am in LOVE with their cupcakes. I must go there some day as even my brother in law has been to Hummingbird bakery and he loved it.
What a fabulous trip ahead for you..and yes, please take your real camera so we can enjoy the trip via photos when you return. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're going to have an amazing time Cathi! I love London - such a great city. Even if you don't make it as far as the Cotswolds, I heartily recommend a day trip to Brighton (about an hour from London on the train). Beautiful seaside town, with lots to see and do. Or else Winchester (again, an hour from London on the train) is stunning. It was the medieval capital of England, and still has all the medieval architecture, as well as nice shops and cafes.
ReplyDeleteNow this is a beautiful thing!
