A lovely outdoor celebration in honor of
this fabulous weather we are having here in
Los Angeles, and in celebration of the royal
nuptials, which I did stay up almost all night
to watch, as I did for Princess Di's wedding.
I thought it was beautifully done and loved
Kate's dress - simply elegant!
I also had a wonderful, much needed girls
night out dinner with a few of my fave friends.
It was fun and a tad bittersweet, as one of my
friends is moving away. I am so happy and
excited for her new adventures though I could burst!
This weekend I don't have much on my to do list except
to relax, enjoy the gorgeous weather, bike ride, go for a
few walks, plant some flowers and enjoy time with
my fave people. I do feel like venturing out of my
neighborhood, so maybe I will take a drive over the
hill to the beach or walk the beautiful Getty Villa grounds.
Whatever you chose to do this weekend, enjoy every bit of it!

ReplyDeleteI slept through the wedding, but did see a bit of the highlights this morning. Catherine looked stunning - so elegant and beautiful.
We are allegedly going to the coast for the weekend in our RV - but it's acting up so my husband took it in to see what's going on. So our plans, that we have had for several months, may be squashed! But it's not the end of the world. I'm sure, if we don't go, we will have a great weekend anyway - lemons from lemonade, you know! xo, A

ReplyDeleteI'd love a picnic like that -- and I wish the weather here in Toronto would start to improve...we're stuck in low gear as far as sunshine and warmth. Your weekend plans sounded lovely -- hope it turned out to be so for you!
