park here: cool concept

Park Here is Openhouse Gallery's answer to the extreme weather conditions in New York City. It is a pop up indoor park in Nolita made to look, feel and sound like the outdoors.  It is open from early December - mid February. What a fabulous idea!

It has plush grass, beautiful plants, picnic blankets, beanbag chairs
and hammocks. Free wifi and mornings reserved just for moms
and kids from 9-11:30.  The park is open to the public from12:00-
8pm.  Food vendors and coffee are not in short supply there either!

If I lived in NYC, you can bet your bottom dollar that
I would be high tailing it over there to check it out -
I love my parks!  And they even have concerts there!

I love this poster!

Have a beautiful day!

What a great idea Cathi ..... and it looks like plenty of people think so by the looks of things.
The weather here has been extreme winds and rain so, a pop up park would be wonderful. XXXX

Now that's clever! I'd join you at the park, if we both lived there!
