up on the roof....

Now that is what I call a view

What a cozy place to sit with
your thoughts or a good book

Take a little stroll

A beautiful pocket-like park all on the roof

I could while away quite a few  hours here

Alfresco dining anyone?

Putter around the garden and potting area

Such beauty for a quiet meditation

Which one is your fave?

  5. Oh my, this looks like a slice of heaven on Earth, LOL. The potting area's what I love the most. BTW, who took the shots? Looks like they were taken by a pro.

  7. A roof garden? It’s not every day you get to see one. It just feels amazing to be walking around and seeing the beautiful flowers and plants surrounding it, while feeling the warmth of the sunlight. And yes, it’s a perfect place for meditation. For one, spending some time in that roof garden would somehow make you believe that heaven is a place on earth.

  8. Personally, the bench with the bird's eye view shot is definitely the coziest place to chill out among the rest. The colors of the pillows are very eye catchy, Cathi. Actually, I could see myself sitting and reading on your rooftop with pink pillows around me. :P

  9. Your rooftop has such a quiet atmosphere, Cathi. Wouldn’t it be romantic to be up there with a special someone? May I ask, how long did it take for you to collect all these plants?

  10. What a calm and serene rooftop garden. I like the arch at the potting area, Cathi, it's so wonderful! I agree with what Kristopher Diss said, it sure is like heaven out there. :)

  11. My favorite roof garden would be the ones on the second and fifth photos. Why? Well, aside from the fact that I love seeing lovely plants, I also do love having soft and fluffy couches where me and my friends could relax and just enjoy the amazing view. :D Anyway, all these roof gardens are lovely. Hmm. These make me want to start doing something creative on our rooftop too. Maybe someday. ^^

  12. Who wouldn't love to have soft and fluffy couches, Mariam? :P I agree with Richard, the bench with the bird's eye view shot is definitely the coziest place to chill out among the rest. Green roofs are aesthetically pleasing, indeed.

  13. Lovely rooftop you have there, Cathi! Your roof top is just so inviting. It’s like a mini resort where you can relax and meditate. The plants you added to it made it look very fresh. You should invite green roof enthusiasts to see how wonderful yours is! I’m sure they’ll be in awe when they see it!
