the greatest love of all...

"I've found the greatest love of all inside of me"

Words can't express the sadness that I felt upon hearing the news of the passing of Whitney Houston.  I really was not too surprised as her struggles were pretty well known over the years, but you hope and pray that for anyone going thru any type of addiction, that they are able to overcome it.  She truly had one of the most beautiful voices that I have ever heard and this song and it's message has always touched my heart. Hug your loved ones and don't take one moment for granted.  Rest in peace, Whitney!

  1. What a great loss--so tragic. I adore her music, and had wished that she could turn her life around, but alas, it seems it did not happen.

  2. I don't think that fame is all that it's cracked up to be. It seems to take it's toll on so many talented and gifted people doesn't it Cathi ?. At least she has left a wonderful legacy for us to listen to. XXXX

  3. Addiction is hard for anyone let alone playing it out in public for all to see. I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of her passing ~ she left us with some beautiful songs ~ I hope that is her legacy and not the drug use. xoxo

  4. As you said, Cathi, not a surprise, but so, so sad. She left us with such beautiful music, but I am sad for her family especially.

  6. Very sad but not at all shocking....and that in itself is sad isn't it?

She has looked so terrible for a long time now....addiction is a terrible thing, usually with no happy ending. I feel beyond sad for her daughter.
