As I was reading a lovely friends blog last night about the
holiday season, her words resonated so much with me
"We will be blessed because we will all be together"
were her beautiful words...
Isn't that what life is all about anyways, enjoying not only
the holidays but the everyday with your loved ones.
Next weekend is going to be one of those times for me
A couple of my best girlfriends are coming to town to
check a thing or two off of their bucket list
And one of those things is seeing the annual boat parade
in Marina Del Rey.
Even though I've lived here for nearly 12 years, I have
never been to it - so I am truly looking forward to it
But more than anything, I'm looking forward to spending time
with my girls again - we don't see each other nearly enough
and it's always filled with lots of laughter, hugs
and a drink or two.......
The older I get, the more I realize how precious
these times are and I cherish every second of them.
I hope whatever you're doing this holiday season, it's filled with
lots of love, laughter, yummy cookies, heartwarming movies
and beautiful music!
