The research geek that I am has been having alot of fun this week,
reading alot of blogs about everyday life in Rome and places to see
that are off the beaten path, along with the usual places to see. For a
short time, I like to imagine that I am living in places that I am visiting
so I like to have my sense of direction before I even get there.
I can't believe it's Friday - which here in the Los Angeles area has been dubbed the beginning of Carmageddon. They are closing one of our major freeways for the entire weekend, starting at 7 pm tonight. Luckily I rarely have to use the freeways, so it won't be a problem for me, thankfully. This would definitely be a good weekend to get the bike out and hit the trails!
Whatever you chose to do this weekend,
make it fun, make it meaningful and enjoy!
xxoo
Virtual travel--it's the stuff dreams are made of....
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your life in Rome!
I love that photo! I want to be in that photo right now with a nice Espresso... I can't imagine how it must be in LA with those huge freeways etc. London public transport is pretty rubbish, but I can get around without a car... Have a great weekend xo
