I love this photo so much as during the
most difficult times in my life, when I have needed to
just think and clear my head, the ocean has always been the
place where I have felt such peace - today I was reminded of that.
February has always been a difficult time for me and my family, as
that is the month that my dad was killed and to this day it's still hard
to believe the circumstances of his death and the mind boggling fact
that it has been seven years since I last told him that I loved him.
This past week, we had a loss that rocked me and a few of my
family members pretty hard, extremely hard. Time and love are
wonderful healers and I have no doubt that everything will be ok again.
This quote said it all.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear that you have had sad news. ...... and February must be so difficult for you. To have the ocean to help you through such difficult times must be such a blessing. I know that, in time, your heart with swell again. I know that it's an old, well used cliché but, time really is a great healer, although the people, and the memories that you have of them, will always be in your heart. Thinking of you Cathi and sending big hugs across the miles. Your Feb is my Jan ~ although I know the circumstances of how we lost our Dad's are totally different ~ they were both taken from us too soon. Chin up xo
